Built for
Life on
the Road.
Custom solar and electrical systems for camper vans, motorhomes, truck campers, and overland rigs β designed and installed by licensed Red Seal electricians in BC.
Designed Around
How You Travel
A van or RV solar system is more than panels on a roof. It's a complete 12V or 24V power plant that runs your fridge, lighting, devices, fans, and inverter loads β day after day, whether you're parked in the sun or camped under BC's overcast skies for a week.
We design every system around your actual loads and how you travel. Weekend warrior or full-time liveaboard β the system gets sized to match. We calculate your daily amp-hour draw, factor in all your charging sources (solar, alternator, shore power), and spec every component to your build.
Every install is done to Red Seal electrical standards. No zip ties, no undersized wire, no guesswork.

Why Professional
Installation Counts
A van or RV electrical system is a significant investment. These are the mistakes that turn expensive builds into expensive problems.
Alternator Damage Is Real
Connecting lithium directly to your alternator without a DC-DC charger can destroy it. Lithium batteries don't back off charge current the way AGM does.
Vibration Kills Bad Wiring
Vehicles move, flex, and vibrate constantly. Loose connections and unsecured runs fail on the road β every connection we make is mechanically secured.
Roof Leaks Destroy Builds
Improperly sealed roof penetrations let water in. On a full van build, water damage can ruin insulation, woodwork, and electrical.
BC Sizing Is Different
A system spec'd for California won't perform through a BC winter. We size using Pacific Northwest irradiance data β not national averages.
What We Use β
and Why
We're Victron and Renogy authorized dealers. Every component we install is chosen because it's right for the job β not because it's cheapest.
LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries
| vs AGM β cycle life | 3,000β5,000 cycles vs 300β500 |
| Usable capacity | 95β100% vs 50% AGM |
| Weight saving | ~50% lighter than equivalent AGM |
| Charge acceptance | High current β full charge in 1β2 hrs |
| Safety | Victron BMS β cell balancing & protection |
Victron MPPT Controllers
| vs PWM harvest | 20β30% more energy in real conditions |
| Low-light output | Critical for BC overcast days |
| Bluetooth | Built-in β VictronConnect app |
| Sizes | 15A to 100A β matched to your array |
Victron MultiPlus Inverter/Charger
| Output type | Pure sine wave β safe for all electronics |
| Shore power | Accepts shore power, charges bank, passes through |
| Transfer time | <20ms β computers stay on |
| Sizes | 500W to 5000W continuous |
Victron Cerbo GX & VRM
| What you see | Solar in, battery %, AC/DC loads, charge source |
| Remote access | VRM portal β monitor from your phone |
| Alerts | Low battery, high temp, shore power loss |
| History | Data logging β track trends over time |
Our Installation
Process
No templates, no one-size-fits-all packages. Every build starts with a real conversation about your vehicle and how you use it.
Load Audit
We go through every load in your build β fridge, lighting, fans, devices, inverter loads. We calculate your daily amp-hour draw and how your charging sources stack up.
System Design
We spec every component β panels, battery bank, DC-DC charger, MPPT, inverter, and monitoring. You get a full written design before anything is ordered.
Professional Install
Our Red Seal electricians do the work β correct wire sizing, secured runs, weatherproof penetrations, and individual fusing on every circuit.
Handover & Support
We walk you through the system, configure your Victron monitoring, and make sure you know how to use it. Call or text us anytime after.
